New Features (And Pokémon) Revealed in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Trailer
Nintendo Direct released new details for the highly-anticipated upcoming Pokémon games: Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. The games take place in the Galar region, a scenic land in which people and Pokémon work together in harmony. These new Pokémon games offer fans four new features. Another new feature is the Pokémon Camp. Players can attend Pokémon Camp at any time, play with their Pokémon, and get to know them better through Pokemon/player interactions. Players can also visit other player’s camps and hang out with up to three other players in the game world.
While attending Pokémon Camp, players can also now cook up curry on rice, a popular dish in the Galar region. By choosing different ingredients found throughout the camp, players can make more than 100 types of curry. Each one will be added to the player’s curry index.
Lastly, the trailer revealed two of the new Pokémon the games will offer players: Polteagist and Cramorant. Polteagist is a ghost Pokémon whose body is made of tea with a distinct aroma and flavor.
